CONTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS TO

"OTHER VOICES / OTHER MINDS"


     Each contribution must clearly convey to the viewer or
reader, some positive aspect of the homosexual mystique...or
other sexual minority. You must not already have moderate-
to-major public recognition for your talents (as in paid
publications, community awards, media interviews, cafe or art
gallery displays, or your own web page). If you have a
creatively gifted Lesbian or Gay friend who does not have
Internet connectivity--due to being homeless, dirt poor, or
disenfranchised in some other way--you may represent her (or
him) for purposes of recognition on my web site. Any
contributor must be willing to display her work on my site
with no expectation of remuneration or media attention.

     Poetry or Prose:  send only plain text files in standard
English--single-spaced, maximum right margin of 62.  Please,
no major "opuses" or other lengthy pieces. Preferred writings
are five pages or less.

     Drawings, Paintings or Photos:  either directly created
by a graphics software program, or optically scanned into a
computer file. Must be in .gif or .jpg format. Preferred images 
are file-sized less than 275 kilobytes each...and they should be 
e-mailed as encoded attachments or compressed into a ".zip" 
archive. (If you don't understand these instructions, consult 
any newsgroup that covers web page topics.)

     Anonymous contributions are okay.  You may, however,
include your real or pen name, e-mail address or other contact
source, a brief description of yourself, and even a scanned
photo of you, in .gif or .jpg format.  Whatever you do (or
don't) tell me in your contribution, is assumed to be
publishable on this web site. You may request removal of your
works at any time; just send me an e-mail. Neither anonymous
nor acknowledged works will be credited to anyone other than
the original contributor.  All copyright benefits remain with
the contributors.

     Please do not overburden me with copious contributions... 
as I want to make room for as many as possible.  If I run into
web space limitations, I will periodically rotate sections of this 
web site, including my own contributions.   So what you see on 
this site one month, may likely be different for another month. I 
will not permanently delete any contributions by others which do 
not presently appear on my web page...but store them for later 
inclusion, via a rotation schedule.

     I reserve the right to post or not post any contribution,
or to remove it from my web page, without providing a reason
for so doing, or informing the contributor of this decision.
I will, however, make every reasonable effort to inform a
contributor of such changes.

Please note: a quality photograph of your art is quite acceptable; 
especially if the work is 3-D, such as a sculpture or diorama...
or a very large painting.
