This is the new LGBT Center here in San Francisco...1800 Market Street. The Center hosts our own
queer cafe, the "Three Dollar Bill", where I now attend (and perform in) their twice-monthly open mic.

BTW, The Center is composed of both the renovated Victorian you see painted a lovely dark shade of blue,
and of the ultra-modern glass and steel structure with a gigantic, sloping roof.

Not the best photos; but what do you expect with a cheapazoid $24 digital camera from Walgreens?
(If you'd like to donate a better camera, please contact me.)

This is the "far end" of 1800 Market Street (above). Abutting it is a bland ochre building, at the end of
which--for a time (Aug.-Oct. 2004)--is housed the Democratic Party's "Every Vote Counts Campaign"...1844 Market.
Which is where I've volunteered to put in many hours in hopes of defeating Dubya, as phone bank caller and
database entry clerk. (It is Sept. 13 '04 as I write this.) Below are two photos of our headquarters:
front picture window and entryway.
