LETTER TO RANDOLPH 6/2/90

My Dear Randy,

Don't ever think that I do not have great compassion for you,
a man who has lived through some of the greatest horrors that
ever existed. For that reason, the LAST thing I ever want to
do, is dish any of your cruelty back to you.  Yet, at times I
MUST retaliate, if I truly do love you.  Since I have
EXPLAINED the reasons why, many times over the years, I will
not waste any more paper on that subject. Suffice it to say,
that I am preparing to do so again...in a way that will also
give you renewed media attention, that you may have your voice
for the sake of veterans AND gays.

Destiny (that is, "God") will begin this year to open doors
that will lead you to leadership of the world's gay community.
Destiny is honoring me as the hand that shall do that...and
believe me, even if you kick and scream all the way, I shall
"out" you and launch you back to media attention.  It is not
that I believe I have such great power or influence, but that
God has bestowed on me a great blessing, and shown me the
amazing destiny in which I play a major role.  I am not
interested in trying to persuade or convince you...for that
would be "hubris" on my part.  But that I know the time for
world liberation has arrived...to be led by gays.

As God rapidly opens these doors for you, hindsight will prove
the truth of my "outrageous" claims.

You are so well-loved by me, Randolph, but you are still
scared of me, who dares to follow his dreams and make such
claims.  I am, among other things, a true visionary (AND
revolutionist).  In my soul stir the seeds of world
liberation...whose sprouts come through my pen, my brush, and
my voice.

Whatever is going on in your life, I'm sure that, these days,
you are experiencing many upheavals, especially in your own
perspective about the world and yourself.

You are a GREAT man, and can do so much for the gay community.
You have the CHARISMATIC LEADERSHIP so badly needed, to
inspire the rest of us to fight back all the way and win!
Unlike Vietnam, this IS a war worth fighting (just as was W.W.
II).  And...it will be a war with very little bloodshed...for
we are becoming so CLEVER, that in this case the pen (and the
paintbrush) will INDEED be mightier than the sword.

I will be the BRAINS behind it, along with other new leaders.
As you have well learned, I am an EXPERT on mass-psychological
terrorism. God has made my tongue into a sword of truth...and,
by logical extension, my pen and paintbrush...and any other
medium or media that comes my way.

My terrorism is not the simple-minded ploy of painting scary
visions or speaking threatening words...but the terror that
prejudiced people feel when confronted with a mind so
brilliant, it outshines a million of their minds!  THAT is why
you are scared of me.

Get over it, I'm on your side, turkey.  I ALSO have the gift
of unlocking the doors in OTHER people's minds, to make them
every BIT as smart and creative as my own.  And I SHALL do it,
no matter how much the world resists!  I have a great gift to
share with EVERYONE!  Stop being scared of your own shadows!
Have COMPLETE confidence that the good in your own mind shall
triumph over the evil!  Get on the stick, and help me beat The
Devil, whose favorite mask is human ignorance. Be not HIS
servant, but Christ's!  Join me, Randy, as my beloved
comrade-in-arms.
